This small tree produces wonderful figs that are a brownish red color.

Flaxleaf Paperbark

Common name:Flaxleaf Paperbark
Botanical name:Melaleuca linariifolia

This medium-sized tree will grow 15'-20' tall and produces wonderful white blooms. It can survive both dry and wet soil conditions. It is frost tolerant. The bark tears off readily in thin sheets of "paper", thus the common name Paperbark.

Fruitland Silverberry

Common name:Fruitland Silverberry
Botanical name:Elaeagnus pungens 'Fruitlandii'

Fruitland Silverberry is an evergreen shrub that grows to about 15' tall and wide. It has large silvery leaves with rusty dots. Since it is armed with spines, it is good for hedges or dense barriers. It can be sheared if necessary. This shrub tolerates heat and wind.
